Hello everyone, I am feeling a little better this month (celebrating my nephew and my brother's birthdays was good). The burnout has subsided a bit, but it is still there. I particularly enjoy my nephew, and how he is taking his first steps. My brother and I had a lot of fun last week just hanging out and playing with the little guy between his naps. It was around this time last year, that I knew that I was not going to be asked back to my job, and I had also realized among other things, that my back had been stabbed at least three times.
I already know this year, that I will have a job next year, and everything seems to be going well as far as my employment goes. However, there is a huge void at this job, that was not there with my previous one, which I dearly loved. This is probably where the burnout is comming from. I am content with my job, but I am certianly not happy. Beware the Ides of March, I felt a lot like Julius Ceasar last year, and I feel a lot like his corpse now.
